If you are questioning whether or not you are in PECOS, simply download the excel file below and do a search for your NPI number/name. This list is current as of 1/06/2011 and will be updated periodically as updated lists are provided by CMS. If you receive a referral from a physician not in PECOS, your claim will likely be denied. PECOS is very important and cause issues with your Medicare payments if the application is completed incorrectly.
