We are excited to announce that Rocky Mountain Youth Clinics, with clinics throughout Colorado, has selected Physician Practice Specialists as their vendor for all enrollment and credentialing needs. In partnership with Athena Health, we are excited to take on this project and ensure RCMY receives the services and expertise they require. PPS has been providing credentialing services to Athena clients since 2005 and we are excited to work on this new project with them. This brings our total number of providers utilizing Athena Health for revenue cycle management to over 500.
Athena Health is our top choice for those clients looking for a comprehensive EHR/PM system and is willing or interested in also outsourcing their RCM. There are many vendors out there but only one that we feel comfortable recommending when it comes to the RCM side of things. We do not receive a commission of any type for referring clients to Athena and they do not receive anything from us. Our referral relationship with them has come about because we have had so many challenges over the years finding a company that not only has a great EHR but also has an RCM service that is equal to or better than any in-house option.
